On September 16, 2025, DFS Construction Group Joint Stock Company (DFS) officially commenced large-scale pile driving works for the Tra Vinh Solid Waste Treatment Plant project, located in Sam Bua Hamlet, Song Loc Commune, Vinh Long Province. This marks a significant milestone, signaling the transition from the preparatory phase to the official construction phase, with an accelerated and synchronized schedule.
Pile Driving Works at the Tra Vinh Solid Waste Treatment Plant Project
The Tra Vinh Solid Waste Treatment Plant project is envisioned as a modern environmental infrastructure facility, applying advanced technologies to optimize the classification, treatment, and recycling of municipal solid waste. In particular, the plant will harness thermal energy from the waste incineration process to generate electricity, providing a clean and stable energy source for the locality. Once operational, the plant will not only address the growing demand for waste treatment, but also mitigate environmental pollution, contribute renewable energy to the grid, promote sustainable socio-economic development, and create stable employment opportunities for local communities.
As the EPC General Contractor Consortium, DFS and its partners are responsible for the overall scope of works, ranging from design, equipment supply, and construction to commissioning and project handover. The commencement of large-scale pile driving marks an important transition, clearly demonstrating the Contractor’s organizational capacity and commitment to quality, schedule, and safety in construction. At the same time, it also reflects the determination to work hand in hand with the Investor and local authorities toward building an environmentally friendly waste treatment system integrated with renewable energy development.
DFS remains committed to mobilizing resources, technologies, and expertise to ensure the project is completed on schedule and soon put into operation, serving the community and contributing to the green - clean - beautiful urban development.
