On September 20, 2025, DFS Construction Group Joint Stock Company (DFS) supported Greenity Dong Nai Co., Ltd., in coordination with local authorities, to organize a field visit to the Hau Giang Waste-to-Energy Plant for a delegation of government representatives and local residents from the Tan Hung – Hon Quan Waste-to-Energy Plant project area (Tan Hung Commune, Dong Nai Province).

During the visit, the delegation was introduced to an overview of the plant’s scale, treatment technology, operational processes, as well as the economic, social, and environmental benefits brought by the waste-to-energy facility. The site visit provided government representatives and local residents with direct insights, enhancing their understanding of the advantages of waste-to-energy technology in municipal solid waste treatment and clean energy production.
In parallel, the Project Management Board organized a community consultation session with the participation of local authorities, social organizations, and a large number of residents. During the session, the working group provided detailed information on the implementation plan, project schedule, and the tangible benefits that the Tan Hung – Hon Quan Waste-to-Energy Plant will bring to the locality. Residents had the opportunity to raise questions, share opinions and suggestions, which were fully addressed and recorded by the Project Management Board and relevant authorities.

A representative of the local authorities emphasized: “We highly appreciate the transparency in providing information and listening to public opinions. Through this field visit, local residents now have greater confidence that the Tan Hung – Hon Quan Waste-to-Energy Plant project will contribute to environmental improvement while bringing socio-economic benefits to the locality.”.
A participating resident also shared: “Previously, we had many concerns regarding the project’s environmental impacts. However, after directly visiting the facility and receiving clear explanations, we feel more reassured and hope the project will soon be implemented to ensure effective waste treatment.”.

The combined site visit and community consultation not only created opportunities for residents to access accurate and transparent information, but also contributed to strengthening consensus, consolidating trust, and fostering public support for the project—towards the goals of sustainable development and environmental protection.
As the Consultant responsible for preparing the Master Plan, Feasibility Study Report, and specialized reports, DFS has gone beyond its technical duties by actively supporting the Investor in communication efforts, fostering social consensus, and encouraging community participation. This serves as an important foundation for ensuring smooth project implementation on schedule, with the aim of developing a modern, environmentally friendly, and sustainable waste-to-energy plant in Tan Hung – Hon Quan.
