I. Main duties:
Establish, manage, control, and be responsible for the entire quality management documentation system of the construction project in the role of General Contractor; ensure that the documentation is accurate, complete, timely, and compliant with technical, legal, design, and construction standards, meeting the requirements of the Company and the Investor.
II. Responsibilities:
Manage all construction quality work of the project, including but not limited to the following tasks:
- Develop procedures, provide feedback on procedures, and form for work acceptance (existing procedures)
- Control acceptance planning, send acceptance invitations to the Investor/Supervisory Consultant
- Establish and manage project quality documentation; Distribution to stakeholders
- Guide and control subcontractors and construction teams on how to prepare and manage quality documentation
- Control project legal documents
- Control input material documents
- Control acceptance documents for each construction phase
- Be responsible to the Company and the Investor for the completeness, accuracy, and validity of all project quality management documents.
- Coordinate with relevant departments in the acceptance, handover, and final settlement of the project.
- Participate in weekly meetings, coordination meetings on quality and documentation with relevant parties.
III. Direct reporting lines
Report directly to: Site Manager/Project Manager.
IV. Job requirements
a. Education: University/College degree in Construction.
b. Knowledge:
- Understanding of current quality control, acceptance, and construction standards.
- Proficient in reading, understanding, and communicating in English.
- A certification in installation supervision or construction design is a plus.
c. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in QC or a related position in construction projects (General Contractor preferred)
- Management experience: N/A
- Professional experience: 0 - 3 years.
d. Skills:
- Organizational skills, planning, and document system control.
- Skills in working with subcontractors, supervisory consultants, and clients.
- Skills in summarizing, reporting, and problem-solving.
- Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
e. Other requirements:
- Basic professional English.
- Personal laptop/desktop.
- Possesses a strong desire to learn and a passion for the company's field of activity.
- Capable of working independently, with keen insight and proactiveness; able to withstand pressure.
- Capable of teamwork.
- Careful, principled, and highly responsible.
- Proactive and decisive in quality control.
- Able to handle pressure from deadlines and project workload.
- Willing to work on construction projects in the province (former Tra Vinh provine).
