Tra Vinh Solid Waste Treatment Plant

The Tra Vinh Solid Waste Treatment Plant Project, invested by Greenity Tra Vinh Co., Ltd, is planned to have a mixed waste treatment capacity (including municipal and non-hazardous industrial waste). The project is designed with a waste treatment capacity of 350 tons per day, equivalent to a load rate of 70.14%, with a design capacity of 499 tons per day. The plant is expected to recover energy for electricity generation, with a projected capacity of 7.5 MW, to serve both the plant’s internal electricity demand and feed into the national power grid. Commercial power generation will commence once the plant completes all legal procedures required for electricity sales in accordance with applicable laws. Additionally, the plant will be constructed with a single-unit configuration, consisting of one incinerator, one waste heat recovery boiler, and one turbine-generator set. The project is expected to be completed and enter commercial operation in the first quarter of 2027.

The project is located on a land area of 102,879.8 m² (~10.3 hectares), identified as plot numbers 3196 and 2925 on cadastral map sheet number 19, in Luong Hoa commune, Chau Thanh district, Tra Vinh province (currently Sam Bua Hamlet, Song Loc Commune, Vinh Long Province). The investment aligns with both central and local government development orientations.
